Pacific Gem NZ T90

Pacific Gem is a New Zealand triploid hop, bred from Smooth Cone, California Late Cluster, and Fuggle, and released in 1987. While it has high alpha acids, its high cohumulone content makes it less ideal for bittering. Instead, it shines as an aroma hop, imparting smooth, oak-like character with notes of blackberry. Commonly used in European lagers, Pacific Gem adds depth and complexity to a variety of beer styles.
