Special B® MD is the darkest caramel malt, produced through a unique double drying process that enhances its distinct aroma and flavor. It provides an intense caramel character and is often associated with the raisin-like notes found in Belgian abbey beers.For a less bitter profile, MRoost 900 and 1400 can be replaced with Special B® MD.All caramelized malts improve foam stability from as little as 5% of the grain bill and can be used for up to 15%.
